Bullying/Harassment
ARS 15-341 (2005) requires the governing board to prescribe and enforce policies and procedures that prohibit pupils from harassing, intimidating or bullying other pupils on school grounds, on school property, on school buses, at school bus stops, and at school sponsored events and activities. The policy must include procedures for confidential reporting to school officials, a requirement that school district employees report suspected incidents, a formal process for the documentation of reports, a formal process for invetigagion of suspected incidences, disciplinary procedures for pupils who have admitted to or been found to have committed incidents, and consequences for false reports of incidents.
Cyber Bullying
No state policy.
Hazing
ARS 15-2301 (no date available) requires every institution of public education to adopt, post, and enforce a hazing prevention policy as outlined within this statute.
